Family
Family is so important to us both. We are so blessed to have so many caring family members and friends that are like family. Some of our fondest memories include family time and events. Family brings everyone together. Our family teaches us so much each and every day, especially the values of love and belonging.
The day Tommy was born
Jeff was extremely excited yet terrified. He was worried that his son would not connect with him. He remembers the doctor bringing Tommy to him the first time. He held his tiny son and said "Hi Tommy." Tommy then opened his eyes and looked up at his dad. Jeff knew then how much of a blessing Tommy would be.
Weddings are such a special event.
Weddings are such a special event. Jeff and I have each had the honor of being a part of our siblings’ weddings. Those days were special for many reasons. We got to spend quality time with family and watch our siblings marry the ones they love. It is amazing to be a part of these days, and we look forward to sharing these events with our future child.
Each of us remembers the holidays as a kid.
We would each get together with both sides of our families. We would eat the best foods and play with cousins. Jeff remembers the joy of playing pickle with his cousins during the holidays. I remember the delicious mostaccioli my grandma would make. It was my favorite. I could not wait to sit down at the table and enjoy that meal with my family. To this day, I have not found another mostaccioli that tastes quite as good as my grandma's.
