Vacations
Vacations and trips are so much fun. As a child, I did not get to go many places due to needing to take care of the farm. Jeff traveled to different places, but it was usually because of being an Air Force family. We think it is important to take trips for a day or longer. We want our children to have fun experiences.
Every summer, we travel to Branson, Missouri.
Jeff has done this with his family since he was young. I have joined since we began dating. We spend time on Tablerock Lake boating and swimming. We also go into town to check out different attractions. We choose something new to see each year. We have gone to the Titanic museum, the aquarium, mini golfing, go-karts, and many other places. We hope to take our future child on this trip each year.
We took Tommy to Holiday World in Indiana.
I remember the smile on his face when he rode a ride for the first time. I also remember Tommy being scared on a couple of rides and Jeff comforting him. These experiences were very memorable to him. We had such a great time enjoying new activities and spending time as a family.
We go on many small day trips.
We think it is important to try new things and take time away to relax and explore. In the summer, we enjoy water parks and different places to swim. In the fall, we travel to different pumpkin patches. Around Christmas, we visit different locations to check out the lights. We also go on random outings to the science center, zoo, or parks.
