Our Story

Jeff and I have been together for many years. We met on the dating site Plenty of Fish. Our first conversation focused on the St. Louis Cardinals and his son Tommy. After a year of dating, Jeff proposed at one of my favorite wineries, and we married in 2017. 

We are good for each other because Jeff makes me laugh and enjoy the small things, and I help Jeff become more responsible. We both wanted to add to our family after we got married. We wanted a child together and tried for several years before I was diagnosed with infertility. The diagnosis left us heartbroken, but we are determined that everything happens for a reason. We began to pursue adoption in 2020. We love our life together with Tommy and believe a baby would be the missing piece to complete our family.

Why we choose adoption

Jeff and I want to welcome a baby into our home and hearts. Jeff has experienced the joy of becoming a parent, but I have not, as Tommy was seven years old when our paths crossed. After learning that I could not have kids due to infertility, we researched ways we could still become parents. We chose adoption because it touches so many people. We have the opportunity to help someone that needs us to take care of their child. We want to provide a safe home and a happy, fulfilling life to a child. We have so much love and time to give a child. We want to watch them grow and chase their dreams, no matter how big.
